Released March 31, 2023
Internal Space Element is Irish, electronic producer, ZOiD’s 3rd full length album and most ambitious project to date. Set for release on March 31st Internal Space Element fulfills a lifelong dream to combine electronic beats with a lush string-quartet! The album features a stellar team of vocalists, producers and some of Ireland’s best string musicians.

Each song is a collaboration between ZOiD and the guest artist. Internal Space Element showcases some of Irelands top female voices featuring  Meljoann, Miriam Ingram, Suzanne Savage and Inni-K. The two sci-fi themed single releases with Meljoann (Portal and Spacemission) received fantastic support from Irish media and ended up on numerous end of year lists for 2022. The collaboration with Inni-K (Strong) was played across Irish radio and championed by RTE Radio 1 stalwarts like Fiachna O’Braonain. Thus highlighting ZOiD’s ability to successfully bring the experimental and left-of-field into the mainstream sphere.

What’s The Question
? The fourth and final single from the album is ZOiD’s sublime collaboration with vocalist Suzanne Savage and will be available on all platforms March 24th

“Great to work with such an inventive, inquisitive artist. Daniel has a warm, open approach to  complex music, with a light touch and humour to boot.”

Suzanne Savage

Vocals and strings were recorded and mixed by Les Keye at Arad Studios. The string quartet parts were performed by Cora Venus-Lunny, Aoife Durnin and Ailbhe Mc Donagh. The album was mastered by Northworks, UK

There are also two, more up-tempo remixes, one from ZOiD and one from Eddie Tr-One, with more remixes on the way as a separate remix EP.

Thanks to FMC for the MISP Songwriting Camp grant which helped with the writing and recording of the vocal and string parts.

Internal Space Element
is set to be officially launched with a special listening party at Dublin’s ‘The Big Romance’ on April 2nd.
