Roth na Bliana / Wheel of the Year / ᚏᚑᚈᚆ ᚅᚐ ᚁᚂᚔᚐᚅᚐ
A new collaborative EP of music inspired by and created to accompany the solstices/equinoxes and the four fire festivals in the Irish calendar sung in Irish and English. Inspired by Irish folklore, mythology and history.
8 main tracks in all with numerous extra 'Threads' interspersed throughout. These threads are of a more experimental nature. Using modern, old and traditional instruments.
Each track will be added to the album as it is released throughout the year.
The wheel's panel will feature artwork to accompany that specific holiday's track. Ending up with a completed wheel at the end of the year.
The release schedule hopefully will be as follows ~
