With members hailing from South Kilkenny and Wexford, Fakehouse are an Irish alternative rock band based in Waterford City. Initially formed in 2021 the 4 piece blends ear opening melodies with darker influenced guitar atmospheres. Coming from varied musical backgrounds, the members influnces range from mid-century pop to mid-west emo and from nu metal to new wave. 

Following on from the release of their debut single "For a Few" in March of 2022 the group have gone onto play various shows and festivals throughout Ireland in Cork, Limerick, Wexford and Waterford.

In summer of 2023 the band have recruited a new lead vocalist and have been since plotting their return to the music scene having developed a more mature, defined sound and recording their new upcoming single, "Heavy on the Eyes" due for release at the end of this year.
