Bad Habits

An ode to despair, ‘Bad Habits’ is an energetic and somewhat unhinged ride through the artist’s manic outbursts regarding life, mental health and our lack of ability to do ourselves any favours when it comes to our wellbeing. Sea High’s panicked lyricism is woven throughout the backdrop of a dramatic, orchestral instrumental, produced by Sea High himself, which sets the tone perfectly for what he speaks of within. Feelings that we all know too well, self-sabotage, mood swings and a sense of one revelling in the very things that destroy them.

The cinematic beat, serving as a mechanism for the listener to question their own routines, their societal environment and most of all their Bad Habits, is engaging and energetic yet still alludes to the gloomy subject matter of the song, and carries Sea High’s words with ease.
