Happy House

Quickly following up his well-received debut project (Baby, released March 28 2018 on Hausu) Drew Linehan’s solo project Automatic Blue returns with the fourth in a series of one-off singles from Hausu. Happy House carries the trademark elements of that sound; soft autotuned vocals, atmospheric, psych-influenced synth and heavy processed drums. Towards the end of the track it opens up; the churning bassline takes centre stage, the vocals begin to chop and slide rebuilding to catharsis.

Automatic Blue’s sound, soon to be brought to the stage, was born in a melting pot of his influences, from the vulnerable wide open spaces of The Beach Boys and Frank Ocean through the beat-driven jams of The Internet and Flying Lotus to psych across the ages.
